Diamond Spearmint Ice on the Kraze Luna Link 100K starter kit: crisp spearmint with an extra icy edge, in the Serene Garden green charging case. The kit is the case plus a 20mL vaping device — up to 100,000 puffs, 20mg/mL nicotine salt, a dual mesh 1.1Ω coil, Norm Mode on the pod by itself and Boost Mode when it is docked in the 1000mAh case, a clear tank so you can see the e-liquid, and bottom adjustable airflow — $41.99 at UniVape, the same price as all ten flavours on the Kraze Luna Link 100K page. Once you own the case, the Diamond Spearmint Ice replacement pod is $34.99, so every flavour after the first costs $7 less.

The flavour

Diamond Spearmint Ice is crisp, sweet spearmint with an extra layer of ice on top — the one mint in the Luna Link range, and the flavour to pick if you want cold without fruit. A Luna 42K flavour. In Norm Mode — the pod on its own — the draw is lighter and cooler; dock it in the case for Boost Mode, which runs warmer and denser and brings the sweetness forward. The same flavour as a one-piece disposable is the Luna 42K Diamond Spearmint Ice.

Nearest flavours on the Luna Link are Kiwi Pear Cactus G Ice, Misty Mango Green Tea Ice and Sapphire Blue Razz Ice; all ten kits and all ten replacement pods are on the Kraze Luna Link 100K page, the one-piece version of the Luna is the Kraze Luna 42K, and everything else from the brand is on the Kraze page.

Specifications

How it compares

At $41.99 for 100,000 rated puffs the Luna Link kit is about 42 cents per 1,000 puffs, and the $34.99 replacement pod about 35 cents. Against the one-piece 100K disposables at UniVape, the Geek Bar Pulse X 2 100K is $38.99 for 20mL (39 cents), the Oxbar G100K $36.99 for 30mL (37 cents) and the Allo Nuud 200K $36.99 for 200,000 rated puffs (about 18 cents); Kraze's own Giga 150K is $41.99 for 40mL and 150,000 puffs (28 cents), and the Luna 42K $41.99 for 42,000 ($1.00). What the extra $3 over the Pulse X 2 buys is the case: a battery you keep, Boost Mode, and pods at $34.99 from the second flavour on. The closest idea in the store is the Level X G2 battery ($11.99) with its pods — Ultra 50K pods at $31.99 (64 cents per 1,000) or the M40 160K pods at $33.99 (21 cents) — which is cheaper per puff on the big pods but has no Boost Mode and no battery in the pod itself. Every device over 100,000 puffs is on the 100,000+ puff page, and the field is ranked in our best disposable vapes in Canada guide.

Who it suits

Anyone who liked the Luna 42K's mini-bag look and wants a device that lasts more than twice as long; anyone who changes flavours, because one case takes every pod in the range; and anyone who wants a harder hit on tap without buying a bigger device. The clear tank and the indicator lights mean no guessing about e-liquid or charge. If you would rather have a one-piece device with nothing to dock, the Kraze Giga 150K or the Pulse X 2 are simpler; the disposable vapes page has every brand we carry.

Diamond Spearmint Ice kit — frequently asked questions

What comes in the Kraze Luna Link Diamond Spearmint Ice starter kit?

The Serene Garden (green) Luna Link charging case and one 20mL Diamond Spearmint Ice vaping device — up to 100,000 puffs at 20mg/mL. The vaping device is also sold on its own as a replacement pod for $34.99.

What is the difference between Norm Mode and Boost Mode?

Norm Mode is the vaping device on its own: a lighter, cooler draw at the low end of its 12–24W range, with the full rated puff count. Boost Mode is unlocked only when the device is docked in the charging case: more power for a warmer, denser draw and a harder hit, at the cost of e-liquid and battery. The mode light on the device shows which is on.

Can I charge the Luna Link vaping device without the case?

No. The device has no charging port of its own — it recharges only inside the Luna Link charging case, which has a 1000mAh battery and recharges by USB-C. The 200mAh battery in the device gets you through a few sessions in Norm Mode between docks.

How long does the Kraze Luna Link 100K last?

Up to 100,000 puffs from 20mL in Norm Mode, Kraze's rating — four to eight weeks for most people. Boost Mode uses e-liquid faster, and real draws are longer than the lab puffs the rating is based on, so treat 100,000 as a ceiling. The clear tank shows how much e-liquid is left, and when the pod is done you replace only the pod.
