What the G4 Pro gets right
Battery. 1800 mAh is the largest cell Uwell has put in a Caliburn. At 20 W on a 0.9 Ω pod, that is a full day for most people and closer to two for a light vaper, and the 2 A USB-C charge means an empty device is back to full in about an hour. The Caliburn G4 runs 1300 mAh and the G3 less again, so battery alone is a reason to want the Pro.
The screen. Uwell's first touchscreen, and it is not a gimmick. Wattage, airflow, puff count and the output mode are all one tap away, the display is readable outdoors, and the shatterproof glass survives the pocket-and-keys test. The theme system — three built in, three that unlock as your puff count climbs — is the kind of thing you either ignore or enjoy; it does not get in the way either way.
Pods. The GPP platform is the reason to buy into this device. The four coil options cover everything from a tight, cigarette-style draw on the 1.2 Ω to a warm, airy pull on the 0.4 Ω, the side-fill port is quick and clean, and Uwell's anti-leak design holds up in a bag. Because the Pro also accepts G3 pods, the pods Uni Vape already stocks work in it — more on that below.
Flavour. Pro-FOCS 4.0 is Uwell's name for the airflow-and-coil arrangement that made the Caliburn famous, and the G4 Pro is the best-tasting version of it: salt nic at 20 mg/mL on the 0.9 Ω pod is smooth, dense and accurate to the bottle.
What to know before you buy
It is the biggest Caliburn, and while 78 g is still light, people moving from an A3 or a G2 will notice it. The touchscreen is button-free, so the lock function matters — learn it on day one. And it is Uwell's flagship, so it is priced like one; if all you want is a good MTL draw and a full day of battery, the G3 does that for less.

The short version: the G4 Pro is the G4 with a bigger battery, a real screen and button activation. The G3 is the previous generation — less power and battery, but the same Uwell draw and the same pod family, at a price that makes it the sensible buy in Canada until the Pro lands. The X is the choice if you prefer a taller 3 mL pod and a slimmer body. The A3 is the smallest and simplest of the lot.
Which pods fit which Caliburn
This is where most people go wrong. Caliburn pods are not universal:
- GPP pods fit the Caliburn G4 Pro, G4, G5 and G5 Lite. The G4 Pro also accepts Caliburn G3 pods.
- G3 pods — 0.4, 0.6 and 0.9 Ω or 0.9 and 1.2 Ω mesh — fit the G3 and the G4 Pro.
- G2 pods fit the G2 only: Caliburn G2 pods.
- G pods fit the original Caliburn G: 0.8 Ω and 1.0 Ω.
- X pods fit the Caliburn X: Caliburn X pods, 3 mL.
- A3 pods fit the A3: 0.8 and 1.0 Ω mesh. A2 pods fit the A2: 0.9 Ω mesh.

Which coil should you run?
For 20 mg/mL salt nic — which is what most Canadian pod vapers use — the 0.9 Ω or 1.2 Ω pod at 12–18 W is the right place to start: tight draw, strong flavour, battery that lasts. The 0.6 Ω at 18–25 W suits 10 mg/mL salts or a looser draw. Save the 0.4 Ω and the top of the wattage range for 3–6 mg/mL freebase e-liquid; on 20 mg salt it is too much. Our e-liquid range has both.
